Advanced Academics

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level courses available for students to take in high school. Students may earn college credit by taking the end-of-course exam and earning a college credit qualifying score. Scores on exams are awarded by the Advanced Placement College Board.

Concurrent Enrollment (CE) courses are college-level courses available for students to take concurrently during the school day with credentialed instructors at the high school.

Students earn college credit by applying and being accepted to the College NOW program offered through Minneapolis Community & Technical College and successfully completing courses.

Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows public and nonpublic students in grades 10-12 to earn college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college nonsectarian courses at eligible postsecondary institutions.
